This Toshiba TV 32LV733G has 5V standby and shows green LED when trying to power on, but nothing else happens. No image, no backlight, no sound...
Check 12V and 24V when it's On: they're about half or less. Check mosfets and I find a short in Q970 (Sanyo 2SK4100LS). Its partner Q971 seems fine. Unsolder it and the mosfet is not shorted. The short is something between the mosfet and IC970 (ST L6599D half-bridge controller). Unsolder the IC and the short is gone. It's between pins 14 and 15 (HVG and OUT). The short is intermittent (!), but there's something bad for sure.
I manage to find this IC from a scrapped LG plasma power supply (a PSPU-J902A or EAY60696801, IC801). Change it and the TV works again. I was afraid that the mosfet could be semi-bad, but I've been lucky this time.
