I'm pulling the SC2 board out of my Panasonic TV, and I've come across a strange connector... here's what it looks like:

How do I disconnect this thing??

It would be easier if the Sd board is bolted in as that is the side that gets disconnected.

The 2 tabs you squeeze inwards then wiggle it up. they can be quite firm but patience and not brute force is the key to not breaking anything.

Complete stab in the dark but 2010 50G20 or similar series?

maybe looking at the shopjimmy image gives some clues for you

squeeze tabs inwards (in red circles) and lift straight up.

Wait, up as in away from the board or towards the side of the TV? Also, it's a TC-P50G25, very close! (And thank you everyone!)

you are being scary by linking a TNPA5081 in the reply. I have a dead one here that I plan to repair in the near future,been tip toeing around it after I read the large tnpa5081 thread.

up as in away from the board. And you do have a TNPA5081 board in that TV. You are in very capable hands here with TW2005 as he is the master in repairing of that board!
