Hi Guys,
New here, just read up on these plasmas on this forum, and came to the conclusion after troubleshooting that the x-main is faulty.
I inherited this tv for free so was wondering if its worth fixing.
When the x-main is disconnected from the power supply, the tv starts as normal, I can see a picture/hear audio and can navigate with the remote as normal.
When the x-main is connected just get the power supply constantly clicking on and off (relay)
Now I checked out the board and there is no obvious swelling/leakage damage to capacitors.
I can pick up another x-board for around $70, but am not sure if the x-buffer may be broken as well. Is there any way to test or is it uncommon for the x-buffer to go?
Thanks in advance.
