I've dug through most of the posts on this tv but haven't found a solution. The previous owner of this tv bought a repair kit with 6 components (Q880, R883, R884, D892,D883 & D887) and also swapped out Q860 and Q820. After his repair, the problem worsened to continuous clicking of the relay when plugged in. This is the state the TV was in when I got it. A previous thread indicate Q820 is suspect if this is happening. I ended up changing this part twice, damaged the pad and soldered a jumper to bypass the broken trace.
After this fix, I hear the relay click once and the red light flashes 3 times continuously so I am back to the original problem. I have waited since it is supposed to take up to 30 seconds to boot initially but it doesn't appear to happen.
Following parts of the service manual troubleshooting flow chart, I get 3V on pin 5 of P812A and 3.3V on pin 7 on CN49A.
Some questions
1. I am not getting 12V on the power supply board which may point the problem back to Q880. I'm not sure if the 12V is only enabled after the boot process or if it should be there all the time.
2. Should there be an LED on the seine board to indicate it has power? Does the fan turn on right away or only when needed? I think the processor sends the power on signal to the power supply which is why some fixes require this board to be replaced.
