Pioneer PDP5016HD Red/Blue alternate fault codes
I'm trying to help a guy diagnose his dumpster plasma remotely. He says he gets an alternating red/blue code on the front LEDs with a cycle time of about 5 seconds. To me this sounds like it attempts to start, does a self check, and shuts back to standby mode and does a re-start. But he says it just keeps cycling endlessly. My experience is that ordinarily they eventually stop cycling and give a fault code. I've downloaded the service manual for this exact model and it's referring to red and GREEN LEDs and certainly doesn't help describe this situation. Anyone got any immediate thoughts?
