samsung PN42C430 plasma delay startup

Hi, request help with random pixels at startup for about 10 min then picture comes on perfect, found if hair dryer waved over y-main heatsink area picture quickly comes on. All voltages Vs Va Vscan correct. What component in Y-main board causes this? Is cap kit available for this board?

Hi All, still struggling with this repair. Would this symptom be repaired if I replace the Y-Main board that I heat up with hair drier to make work?

Yes that would most likely fix the problem.
When the picture comes back, is it sudden, i.e. one moment very little picture then suddenly OK picture... or does it come back gradually, over the course of a few minutes or so?

Thank you for reply, picture suddenly comes back, I direct the heat near the black heatsink

If that's the case, I'd check for cold solder joints on that heatsink. Try tapping the heatsink (with an insulated screwdriver) and see if this helps too.
