Bush bpdp42hd3 Plasma TV - Active screen burn protection

    Hi All,

I have the above Plasma TV that is behaving oddly.

On HDMI or VGA sources, it looks as though the screen burn protection is active during normal viewing of a moving image. The whole screen pixel shifts up,down, left, right continuously on either HDMI or VGA source. Inbuilt Freeview works fine as does USB source.

Replaced both AV/HDMI board and PSU with no success.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers,

    Matt

BTW, do you know how to access the service menu on this set? I have tried the Samsung 42PC450 service mode with no success. Also unable to find any firmware to USB flash to see if this helps...

You may not be able to turn it off. Look for options like "Burn-In Protection" or "Pixel Orbiter" but I've seen some panels have it fixed on.
