just wanted to throw this out there another successful repair on a power supply with blown MOSFETs and bad solder connections.
picked this one up yesterday. its a heavy beast with the glass stand on it. Upon plugging in I got constant clicking on and off on and off no picture turned out to be tWO shorted 24N50 MOSFETs location QS801 and QS802. They shorted due to various cold solder connections especially DS809 DS808 DS810 And DS807 in power supply. Replaced mosfets with equivlent of what i had IXFH20N60's (close enough) lol and fuse FS801s and resolsered all cold solder connections and back up and running.
Oh and a side note. Go into the service menu and change model number to PN58B560 and now you have cinemotion. Lol. Works I swear!
