Samsung LJ92-01490A/LJ92-01399A swop

Hi All will the LJ92-01490A Y Sus work as a replacement for the LJ92-01399A? I have been on shopjimmy to look and they give a substitute board number for each as BN96-06092A and BN96-06519A and when you look them up they come back to the LJ92 -0490A and LJ92-01399A and say that they will work With the S50HW-YD02 panel, The reason I ask is I have six LJ92-01490A boards that I need to repair as these are getting hard to find,and today I have time on my hands , and also have a set here that is working with the LJ92-01399A board fitted that could be used to test the boards once repaired. Do you think they will swap Thanks Flocko

never tried but would definitely work as too using buffers from the older series 50Q7 also works which I have tried

Thank TW just got the boards out and most look to have shorted 88N30W, these boards are bringing £70+ on ebay, and as I have nothing else to do today and with a set to test them in and a fresh box of parts from China why not get them working and listed on ebay Flocko

Thank TW just got the boards out and most look to have shorted 88N30W, these boards are bringing £70+ on ebay, and as I have nothing else to do today and with a set to test them in and a fresh box of parts from China why not get them working and listed on ebay Flocko

How can i get a slice of that action . I'm surprised people bother given the buffer needs repair and a pretty old TV now.

They do like Samsung 50" plasma,From the sets that I have repaired that are fitted with these boards most times the Y buffers are fine , but could be down to what parts goes on them. I have fixed four so far and used

Bought one of these boards on eBay, and received it 2 days ago. Before I installed it, I took out the trusty Fluke 87v and found the 88N30W bank of mosfets shorted, the RJH3047 bank shorted, Q5501 shorted, and the main fuse blown (F5702). Seller listed the board as:

The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended.

And:

Pls be aware that It is 100% Good and Orginal PCB.

Must have tested it in a magic TV!

I have filed a complaint on the seller through eBay.

You sure it did not say 100% fully operational when it was original? why do they sell board that they don't even run a meter over, I know a lot come from broken screen sets but it don't take long to run over and check them even the big sellers don't seem to

The part that really gets me is the blown main fuse on the board. Did they just pick this board up from a stack and look over it and say to themselves
"I can sell this on eBay"!

sadly , all too common. but there are some good people out there and even they have let me down but the genuine ones always do the right thing either full refund or sent another free. payless components is one, I think they have changed their seller ID now a little but also have a standalone site outside of ebay.

i've even gone to the extreme asking that certain parts are checked that i know always fail. the response is generic and along the lines of it being fully tested or how great their warranty is or that they've been in the game forever and they know their stuff.

All gimmicks really.

Aftersales service, that's how i judge now. And I'll even pay a bit more in preference for that satisfaction.

I did get a reply from the seller. He said his "technician" said the board was fully functional and apologized. He issued a full refund and to dispose of the board as I see fit. That satisfied me.

I think some Sellers on e-bay are just that...Sellers. they don't know a duck about electronics or testing a board from what I have seen and read.......Shame...
