Hello guys,
I grabbed another dead tv tonight.. My wife hates me HAHA!
Anyway, this guy was clicking away.. Right away I opened it up disconnected the x sys from the Y sys and the unit powered up with the intro Samsung chime...
SO, I found the culprit.. Now, I was searching the web for some input as to if anyone repaired any of these? I tested I think 4 shorted FETs a few are buried behind the 4 green caps and the others are accessible..
I search for the board and it is a hard one to find.. WONDER WHY?? There are other versions that look the same minus some caps...
I've repaired some Panasonic boards at a component level due to the awesome knowledge the TW2005 has shared with us.. but not a Samsung on the level.. I actually own a 60" that is my primary set that I picked up for $25 and replaced the Y sys board for $20 on ebay.. She was a keeper.. Up went the 50" Panny.. Which was a great set.. But she moved on for the greater good
Thank you so much
