Re: Vizio ld-4655vx
Hi Ricosavy.. Did you ever fix this unit? Which mosfet did you use? I have the same issue.. The mosfet is smoked.. I was going to replace that then attack the ribbon to see if I can find the short..

Samsung pn51d530a3f LJ41-09422A X Sys
Hello guys,
I grabbed another dead tv tonight.. My wife hates me HAHA!
Anyway, this guy was clicking away.. Right away I opened it up disconnected the x sys from the Y sys and the unit powered up with the intro Samsung chime...
SO, I found the culprit.. Now, I was searching the web for some input as to if anyone repaired any of these? I tested I think 4 shorted FETs a few are buried behind the 4 green caps and the others are accessible..
I search for the board and it is a hard one to find.. WONDER WHY?? There are other versions that...

TH-42PZ77U Power Supply ETX2MM681MFS Dead Short
Hi all,
I have a TH-42PZ77U that has no blinking LED. I opened her up and found that the Power Supply ETX2MM681MFS has a dead short and it's blowing the 10 amp fuses at the 120 source. I replaced the fuse with the same 10amp fuse plugged it in and pop!
I'm thinking it has to be a shorted FET on the board somewhere.. Has anyone had any experience with this situation and repairing one?
Thank you all for the advice in advance..Last edited by amules; 09-29-2014, 09:33 PM.

Re: Will a TNPH0834 work in a MD50F13C1A PDP?
Yeah I see you are down under and it wouldn't make much senseOuch, postage is the cost of the boards!
Cool, I'll check out that section also and see if anyone what to trade some boards..
I agree, I wouldn't sell it not knowing if it was working properly..
It's 1am here and my eyes are rolling in the back of my head, so it's time to go look at the back of my eye lids.. lol
Thanks again for your input.. I'm sure we'll be talking again soon.. Take care..

Re: Will a TNPH0834 work in a MD50F13C1A PDP?
Ahhh, ok thanks.. I'll get the hang of it here haha..
I see your point about the boards lining up on the mounts..
I pick them up, troubleshoot them and tag them with what they need and then sometimes they hang out for a few in the basement until I either come across another one of the same family or find the parts cheap..
Or if I get brave and try to tackle the component fix on the bench..
So to answer your question I can't remember the sequence I took to troubleshoot the blink...

Will a TNPH0834 work in a MD50F13C1A PDP?
Hi gang,
I've been reading and learning a lot from this site over the past year.. You guys are a good group of knowledgeable dudes.. Anyway my question is this:
I have a few Panny Plasmas in the basement and I was wondering if anyone knew if this would work, or what would happen if I took all the components off of a TC-P50S2 MD50F13C1A Panel and installed them on a MD50F13C2A Panel from a TC-P50G20?
The A board THPH0831 is shot in the P50S2, so I was thinking it's the same panel except for the C1A & C2A it should fly I would think?

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hi fellas,
I wanted to say hello to the brightest group of people on the Internet! I'm new to soldering and component repair.. I'm an electrician by trade, so I can troubleshoot and read meters etc... I have fixed many Pannys, Samsungs, Vizios, both LCD and plasmas since Feb of this year. I prefer a plasma over LCD but they both retrieve nice cash either way. I think the Panny TH-50PZ85U is one of the best built.. The newer ones are nice but lots of issues which I guess is a good thing and brings us here haha..

Re: Panasonic TC-P50s30 sc board question
Hi guys,
Long time reader and only posted once before. I'm in the same boat, I just picked up TC-P50s30 and I trouble shot it to find a faulty SC board. I'm attacking a TC-p50UT50 SS TNPA5623 repair tonight for the first time at a component level. Not gonna lie I'm a little nervous about it but I've been practicing removal on other boards and I think I can do it.. Anyway, the reason I'm posting is TW2005 I see the you said you have a good source for the TNPA5351 board is that correct? I was wondering if you could hook me up as I'm...

Re: please help me troubleshoot a panasonic plasma
I have the same issue with my TC-P50S2.. No sound though, so I believe it is the A board.. I'd love to fix this but I bought the set for $20 and looking to profit. So I'll probably sit on it until I come across one that need a SC board or broken screen... I have a TC-P50G25 that has the same buffer boards but not the A board..anyone out there need any parts and want to trade?
