Hi everyone, I am new to here,
My friend gave me a dead 82” TU7000 with black screen. Backlight worked. I replaced it with a main board from a panel cracked 58” TU7000 and it did display but with vertical/horizontall lines. Therefore, it is for sure, the problem is on the mainboard.
The main board came with VPMS3SM and at 58", it was VPMS3RT. Not much info found on these devices. The board had 3.3, 1.8, 1.9 as well as 12.8V which was from the power board. In this topic: Samsung LH50QETELGCXGO It told me that VPMS3SM was disabled and jumper is required to bypass the ribbon cable. I noticed that the upper point had no voltage. The good one got 3.2V. Measured the resistance and there was no short. Checked all of the capacitors, there was no short either.
At 58” board, the gate of 4435, a 8pin switch, read 6.96V and 12.8V was passed to drain. With the jumper removed, it read 12.8V and the output was cut off. At 82”, it read 12.74V at the gate, no matter if the jumper was on or off. I believed that it was caused by missing 3.2V on the upper test point.
I tried to find where the upper point connected to, but in vain. Is the VPMS3SM dead? Or, where is this test point connected to?
Any help appreciated.
