Samsung 3D LED 40EH6030 keeps restarting at Samsung logo

Hello all

I've got a Samsung 3D LED 40EH6030 TV that keeps restarting at the Samsung logo. It never gets past the logo. The power supply looks fine. I'm thinking a mainboard fault. Any ideas ?

Blimey, is this a 2012 Samsung? That is poor reliability!

Bought in 2013 and still under warranty but receipt was lost and Samsung don't want to know.

Did you pay cash, or did you use a card? If you used a card, then a bank/credit statement is sufficient proof. I always buy any big-ticket items on a prepaid card. Top it up with (near) the exact amount a week before and pay immediately.

Other proof can include any warranty, supplied documents at the time, online registration, etc.

Samsung are a terrible company to deal with (that's not unusual in the TV business, Panasonic are arguably worse) and you should not have to pay for repair in this instance.

But if you were to attempt repair, the main board is the likely cause.
