Hi guys, strange question here...
I had a 15 inch FlatTV which I took apart and laid the tft panel across a projector, so that it was "backlit" by the projector and then projected on to the wall. This worked fine, but somebody broke the screen :-(
So I'm trying to buy a replacement. What I'm looking for is a 15 inch TV with an lcd panel that only has a connection from the tcon board on one side (so that I can lay it down on the projector.
Something like this..
I've just bought one that I thought would fit the bill but when I took it apart, there were tape carrier package connection to the top AND side of the screen meaning that I cant lie it down on the projector...
Is there a specific term for a panel that only has is only connected to the tcon board from the top? I hope this is not confusing..
