Samsung 50' Plasma - Need help diagnosing

Hi Guys,

I am starting to have color and screen issues with my Samsung Plasma TV (model pn50a650t1fxza) this unit is about 5 years old. I am trying to get an idea of what might be wrong and if this is a repair I could do myself as I see there are several boards in this unit.

Is this fault constant, or intermittent? Did it appear one day suddenly or slowly develop? Loose LVDS cable is an option, as is main board or control board.

This started on Sunday after the TV was on for several hours. I turned it off for a few hours and it reappears after the TV has been turned on for 5 minutes

Yes, this fault is intermittent. It happens every 4 minutes or so and last for 10 seconds and goes away.

OK, at this point you will need to take the back cover of the TV off so some diagnosis can be made. Please take clear photos of the parts inside the set.
