Color problems

I am interested in knowing if anyone knows what would cause color problems with LCD TVs? Like in the two images one is a Polaroid 42inch and the other photo show the difference with a Emerson i have, The one on the left is my Emerson and the right is my Sanyo LED/LCD (Btw just died for no reason why i always buy the extended warranty.)

Well the tv on the left picture possibly has a bad tcon board. Thats the board it the top center if the tv. Under a metal shield.
