    toshiba 37av555d powers on then off cycle

    hi all im looking for some assistance i have a toshiba 37av555d tv when i plug it in it powers up and a green box is displayed in the centre it stays on for about 10 secs then cuts off and the reboots and just keeps doing this ive looked on the power board for bulging caps but they look fine the ps board is srv2169ww -f thanks in advance for any help john

    was wonder if this has a blue board?

    If so this is a inverter board I think

        hi amrak tnx for reply ill post a pic tommorrow when i get up the board isnt blue inside. there is psu board logic board inverter board and tcon board all seperate.

              disconnect the ccfl which are on the inverter board.

              then try to turn tv on, see if it stays on.
              If it does stay on it could be the ccfl bulbs.

                If a CCFL is disconnected, it should shut down within a few seconds... do you mean disconnect the inverter?
