This was a great place to turn for this TV before so I hope you can help with my new problem. Recently I replaced the inverter board because a transformer went bad again. Once I got it running I checked the backlight and my 2 seconds to black problem was gone.
So I reassembled it and connected it to a video source and now my display is messed up. Basically if the TV display were cut in half vertically and also in half horizontally to give you 4 equal sections, the top two 1/4's look fine. The bottom left corner is mostly good but fades where it meets a completely blacked out section.
At first I thought that I had broken the LCD but the lines are too perfect for that to be the case. There are 4 ribbon cables, 2 each on the top and the bottom center. Could one of them be off? I had them disconnected before and the TV shut off without them connected. Could I have damaged the LCD and not cracked it while moving?
