    Samsung LN40B610A5F blows fuse

    Turned the TV on one morning and it immediately turned off, no red light or anything.

    Took the back off and replaced the blown fuse hoping it was just a power surge or something, although its on a surge protector.

    Blew the fuse immediately, again.


    No obvious blown caps.

    I checked the bridge rectifier and it seems good. [ .468 to .481 ]

    Not sure but I think I have to pull the mosfets out of circuit to test?

    Your prime suspects are shorted bridge rectifier, mosets and/or diodes.

    I test everything in circuit first and if I get any suspicious readings, then I desolder and verify out of circuit.

      Can we get a picture of the bottom of the board?
