Hi,
i have a fujitsu pds4229E-B plasma tv. It has a problem. It does turn on, and i get a picture, works fine. but after 10-40 seconds it is shutting down and the led is blinking. The service manual say it is in protection mode.
I checked all the voltages of the power supply. Most are okay, but the 14v is low , 13,1 volt. The VSC is very weird, it should be 120v, but i`m measuring -45 volt. yes...Minus!
Could it be a wrong measurement? I put black lead on ground. All grounds are tied together so.... I don`t have a circuit diagram of the power supply, making it difficult to troubleshoot. Maybe i am measuring good and the VSC power supply voltage is no good? In the service manual VSC should be 120v . The service manual is for PDS4229W-B , slightly different model. But all connectors are marked the same, so i think it is a good manual. Who knows if the vsc should be 120v or is -45 a correct voltage? Sorry my english is not perfect
