Re: Toshiba 37HL57 Problem
1) Yes, there is an issue right now with uploading attachments after the server upgrade.
2) For now, post it somewhere on an external webhosting site. We want picture compositions like so,

3) Do you have a multimeter and do you know how to measure DC voltage and resistance?--- begin sig file ---
If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.
We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.

Re: Toshiba 37HL57 Problem
Ok here are the pictures, one is of the system menu where the highighted "prefrence" is green and is suppose to be blue, the others are of one on cable whre you can see the grainyness by the citywest logo and the guys face has bright skin tones, the last is on an xbox game, the fire you can see the grainy halo image between the fire, all the settings are set to 50 for everything turning it up any more it gets worse. im just trying to figure out what part i may need to fix this, i might be able to borrow a multimeater but havent really used one before so i dont know dc resistance or anything im really new at this. Re: Toshiba 37HL57 Problem
It could be as simple as one or more of the internal connector is slightly loose. I suggest cleaning and reseating every connector inside the TV.
I use isopropyl alcohol and let it thoroughly dry before reconnecting everything.--- begin sig file ---

Re: Toshiba 37HL57 Problem
alright i didnt think a bad cap on a power supply could be related to a screen problem, i thought i just wouldnt power on or keep shutting off at random if it was the power supply, i will take a pic of the cap its a big one, the biggest one on the board i thinkwhen i clean the conectors. thanks.

Hello Guys,
I received Toshiba Qosmio X755 that has a charging problem and I'm stuck trying to figure out the problem.

- When I plug in the battery after plugging in the charger, it works correctly and the battery is charging.
- When I plug in the charger after inserting the battery, it stops working. ( voltage dropped and consumed 8A, reaching the maximum capacity of my bench power supply for 5 seconds, and stop working after )
Can you help me diagnose the problem? I have attached... -
