Okay, I got this 42" Plasma. It's not high def, and is about 8 years old. The model is 42WM02L.
I replaced three capacitors in the power supply and that fixed the main problem where when powered up the picture would appear orange for some time and black pictures look sparkly.
Now, it powers up, and the picture is okay, except it almost looks like there aren't enough bits. It's hard to describe but the detail is more like 8-bit instead of 24-bit colour. However, I received this TV as-is, so I have no idea if this is how it was supposed to look, and maybe at a long distance it looks better. (Don't have much room where I am at the moment.) This appears on all the inputs, not just the composite video input.
There are settings for adjusting the various PDP buses - should I adjust any of these? Or should I leave them as is?
Voltages of the panel: 5V, 15V, Va: 68V, Vs: 180V, Vy: -90V, Vsetup: 220V.
It's an LG PDP.
