I've been looking for the schematics as well. Did you manage to find the proper schematics?
I have only managed to get the 'Samsung GTI9195 lever 3 repair' variants, and as you stated they are limiting.

Did you ever get your S4 fixed, and thus retrieve your data!

I have a "SamsungGTi9192GalaxyS4mini08Level3repairblockpcbdiagrams.569641793.pdf" and a "Schematics.pdf". They did not really help me. I asked a company to replace the power IC, because they say these often break, especially on older phones, but it did not work. Probably the MMC chip has malfunctioned, so data recovery is kind of out of the question.

There doesn't seem to be proper schematics available for the S4 Mini! Not that I can find anyway.

I think from what I have read, that the eMMC chip failing was a common fault on that model.

Its a shame that you couldnt get your data back.
