These are the pictures of the components (PQA1 & PQB03) which are heating up.

Measure the chip as there are 2 with the same marking. Sizes are in millimetres. It does look square, so should be the EMB09N03V ,but measure it anyway.

EMB09N03V for EDFN 3x3
EMB09N03H for EDFN 5x6
