Hello,
i'm looking for a schematic/boardview for an ASUS E3-PRO V5 (NOT E3 PRO GAMING, has a different layout).
I'm trying to find out where i can find SKTOCC# other than from the socket in order to ground it for a Coffee Lake mod. It must be somewhere near/around the SIO but I haven't found a datasheet for the NCT5539D this board has.
I've also found the schematic for the similarly named E3 PRO GAMING V5 but it has a different SIO so it's not of much help. And I don't trust myself to hold still a multimeter probe on top of a LGA socket pin to find where it comes out the...01-18-2025, 09:17 AM -

Happy to be part of this forum for my first post!
Short story:
I believe my dad's UX51VZ has an incorrect bios (v207) for a UX51VZH flashed onto it. I'm not quite sure what the differences are between UX51VZ, UX51VZA, and UX51VZH. The serial number of this machine is D5N0CY845932229 and comes up as a "UX51VZ-DB103P" when checked on this ASUS website. All of the bioses can be found at this ASUS website.
1) Do I have the correct bios or should it be the v205 for UX51VZ? Is there something I can check inside the machine to make sure?
