Got a weird issue with a Thinkpad T14 Gen1 motherboard out of/currently still in a scrap machine (cracked display, damaged case, otherwise working) that I bought to rob parts from for another thinkpad.
The motherboard generally works (booted into a test install of Win10 with no issues), however the fan never spins during use. It does spin for about 2 seconds right after turning on the laptop, but after that, never again.
Just to double-check, I've tried a different (known working) fan from a T14 Gen2 and it does the exact same thing when plugged into this mobo, and the fan from...06-29-2025, 04:02 PM -
