Hi! My Lenovo flex 5 14alc05 hu82 bios got bricked black screen doesn't boot. And original file is smaller (16mb) I found one on internet it's 17mb. Is it possible to repair it or flash original from Lenovo website? I used programmer to read file.

How to copy DMI serial number and other details from stock dump to new bios with hex editor? Windows doesnt allow to login. Says not possible since security settings are changed.
And bios from lenovo website is larger.

Hi, I'm troubleshooting an IdeaPad - voltage rails seemed to be fine (I could not find schematics, they are only after a paywall) so my next guess is the BIOS.
Mine is in a Winbond chip - W74M12JWSIQ. My MiniPro cannot read it and even if I tried some substitution (my guess was W25Q128BV) but still no luck. (I desoldered it of course)

If anyone has a workaround for this I would be glad.

                  Laptop: Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5
                  Model number: 14ALC05

                  Thank you

if the programer has a support of that chip that should work but if not you should look for a programmer that support that chip

Hi, sorry for my bad English, but I have a Lenovo IdealPad Flex514ALC05 with a black dial, I think I have the voltages, the white power LED flashes only once, the keyboard turns on, the fan can be heard turning. I tried to download the bios with the default Xgpro T56 programmer, but I don't think anything is corrupt. Now I kindly ask if anyone can help me find the bios for this machine.
