hello, I tried the script on Lenovo Ideapad 320-17IKQ but I get

"dump.bin is corrupted or does not contain a valid dump."

I tried manually patching but I can't find neither GUID e0746c42-d3f9-4f8b-b211-1410957b9ff5 nor GUID pattern 826bcf56-bac4-43f4-8ea1-8cdf0a121abd.

The autopatcher does not work with this model.Only models with an MEC chip are patchable up to 8th gen.

You just need a bios extracting from the lenovo update,then add your DMI to it from your backup

Hello, thanks for the rapid answer! I tried downloading the bios and I successfully extracted it ("decapsulating" it from the other garbage), I just don't understand where to find the DMI, I tried using UEFITool but I'm not sure where to search, is there any guide available on the forum? I tried searching a bit but I struggle to understand what I should search for. Thanks

(I added the BIOS I extracted to make sure I didn't mess this up, I'm pretty confident I can use an hex editor and follow some instructions but hey, you never know, plus some other members will be able to use it )

P.S. Oh I forgot to say that when searching for the right updated BIOS I noticed my laptop is a 320-15IKQ Type 81BGM, not a 17IKQ, just for reference

You sure youve got this right - 320-15IKQ Type 81BGM ? ,what is the serial number on the case

Yes I got it right, in the end I managed to copy the DMI to the new image, i made a script that does it, I'll upload it in case anyone needs it. Thanks a ton for the infos, would have never done it without you
