Whats the problem. If you think your bios is corrupt post your backup/s .If you want to remove a password it can only be done via challenge response code.

The serial number in the bios doesn`t match with the visible one on the cover. It`s a different cover and the right bios or it`s the original cover with the wrong bios. The model in the bios is Z40-B

Try the attached Z40-B bios. If it doesn`t work try the Z40-A bios at post # 9

Everything is wrong with your backups. Both files you posted are not identical, which can be normal since the laptop is initializing but not posting
(blank, as you mentioned) However the ME region looks abnormal, the DMI data is incorrect, and even the NEW BIOS region seems injected at the wrong offset
Exactly why I asked for the original BIOS dump, not a modified one. I suspect the client already took the laptop to another technician, and the wrong BIOS was flashed
In that case, I'll help the user who asked before you, and you can use the BIOS file I'm going to rebuild for them instead (that is, if the Z40-B BIOS file doesn't work) Good Luck!
