I have the laptop disassembled and my questioned had asked if there is a programmer out there where I wouldn't have to remove the chip..

considering the socket type and the operation to be performed, I don't think there are many alternatives, but maybe someone else with more experience could give you advice for what you asked

I created an adapter with a 3D printer, probe pogo pin, hot glue and jumper wire.
Everything worked and now that I have found all the information (feature byte, build ID and factory host based MAC address).

I installed the firmware from the HP driver page.

This is a prototype and was only tested on my mainboard.

[MOD EDIT] External link removed, added attachment to post

To flash, I used the official file "T76_01160000.bin" from HP's driver page.
            https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp151...0/sp151275.exe

The Serial Number, Product Number, build_id and Feature Byte can be found on the inside of the cover.
The CT Number and MAC Address can be found under the memory module.

this is the adapter that I designed, your case could be an excellent idea for containing it.

                    Hello friends.
                    I have a problem with my hp 840 G8
After updating the bios it didn't start, it just kept flashing the side light. I went to check the main dump behind the card and it was corrupted when reading. How is this possible? Is it possible to recover the main dump? help me please?

Is this to be inserted into the second eprom or both? Sorry I don't have that much knowledge. I noticed that my programmer, after injecting the bios, gives an error when doing the check at the end.
