may be the password is on EC bcoz when i used the file x1 carbon 7th gen that you gave to me it remove the passwrod but it has error on battery, the battery didnt recognize the % of battery,
i will upload the 10th gen,

EC and S/N are for x1 carbon 8th gen,
x1 carbon gen 10 (NM-D961, use Mec 1723 or 1503 ...).

X1 Carbon gen 8 (10th gen cpu)
That EC file can be used
As for the battery problem, check the DATA and CLK lines of the battery. If necessary, replace Bq25700. If not, replace MEC.

If there was no battery error before, then the other EC file is not its original.
