need Help for unlock Surface Go

Hey there!

I have forgotten my UEFI Password on my Surface Go (v1). Could anybody please help for unlock? I dump this BIOS region of my Surface Go with Intel ME System Tools v11.0 r1

fptw64.exe -BIOS -D SurfaceGo.bin

even now it didn't work, the bios is too short..it needs 8MB ..

Thanks for your help. I created another dump, it is now 16MB in size. This also corresponds to the size from the post in this Thread

I need a little push. When I try to flash from Windows, I get the error "Bios is write protected" so I wanted to boot via USB stick with an EFI shell and change the UEFI variables. However, I can't turn off Secureboot and therefore can't boot from the stick.

when do you get this error ?? what programmer do you use?

i tried the FPTW64.exe from the Intel ME System Tools v11.0 r1 Tools (under Windows) and the EFI Shell from https://api.256file.com/fptw64.exe/m...ad-272995.html. I just discovered an EFI shell in Intel Tools, but it won't start the Surface either.

program the bios chip with what I sent you and start the laptop .. that's all you have to do ..

What exactly do you mean by "program the bios chip", the file is clear but hardware programmer or software tool?

with what did you create the bios from post # 5 ??

I have it with the "FPTW64.exe" as written. But the write back is with the error:

Error 368: Failed to disable write protection for the BIOS space. FPT Operation Failed.

Command line:

fptw64.exe -f surfaceGo.new.bin

and secound shot

fptw64.exe -bios -f surfaceGo.new.bin

both with this error.
