Hi i have a lot of machine with forgotten password.

I swap the bios chip with a known working machine.
First the service tag was gone but i can enter it in the bios config.
second now i have 3 error message if i try to bios update to the same version 1.10.4
1- ISH Firmware Policy Faileded error 0x000000.
2- ME Firmware Update Failed Image loading.
3- ME Update failed.

Hi there a way to repair the Intel Firmware ME?

HWI show no intel me.

I am using CH341a to read the bios off board.
I have problem with the software some can not read and other can not write
CH341a version 1.18 will read but not write or give error after programming
ASprogrammer 1.4.1 can read but not write
Asprogrammer v2.1.0.12 won't read but write

My bios chip is; MX25L256736z41-08G

Try NeoProgrammer software,and if you have the ch341a black pcb version check if its outputting 5V instead of 3.3V .Check the link in the post for a 3.3V mod

and yes i have CH341A black pcb i did the mod long time ago.


I was wondering if the fact that the service tag is registered 3 times in the bios is the reason why I have the errors mentioned above, the service tag is not the same since it must be registered in another IC like U7202 = MX25L8006E

biosORG.zip is bad, misread, so i need a new good bios with the possibility to change service tag and mac address.
and express service tag .
