    Dell G3 3579 need BIOS with keyboard fix.

    Hello,
    I'm looking for BIOS with keyboard fix. There is a issue that keyboard has got a LAG, after typing a letter nothing happens, after second typing letter it writes 3times this letter. Keyboard exchange did not resolve this problem.

    On Dell forum people said it is BIOS update issue. I can not update bios becaouse of battery failure.

    Do you have working bios? Bios from our forum did not fix the problem. I upload my dump.

    GPU: N17P-G1-A1

          The model number based on the service tag in the bios you posted is a Dell G3 3579 .2DQN7T2 ,does it match with the service tag on the case

              Yes, it is: 2DQN7T2 so it is G3 3579

                      Tried, laptop turns on, but keyboard still not working well. Newest BIOS is 1.14, dont you have that version?

                          The issue was supposed to be fixed in bios versions earlier that 1.13 i posted, the fixes are carried forward. Try the 1.14 update from dell,flash through windows. If the issue is still there i don`t know why.

                              Hello, I can't update through Windows, becaouse my battery is 0%,damaged. Maybe KBC is programmable? I will try downgrade bios or upgrade with command /forceit, maybe will work without battery.

                                              Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

                                              Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

                                              Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.

                                              so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
                                              in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅...

                                              I got a Dell Optiplex 7010 micro PC (Exact Model) with 8FC8 BIOS and locked out admin password. I attempted to remove the password by patching the BIOS via info from this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ssword-patcher
