Thanks for the code, it unlocked, rebooted asked for password so I typed "pass" and it accepted it, it then said press f2 for bios to set date and time after reboot and then it's asking for password, I tried to type pass and it wouldn't accept. There no NVME drive on the laptop at the moment, could that be the reason?

Hi evserv, thanks for the guide, it says to press the F2 button before the password screen and before getting the challenge/response. Unfortunately my eurlier post was just powering up the laptop without pressing F2 first so the computer did not enter BIOS

I entered your code and it said initialising Intel link storage, said to check cables and to enter BIOS with F2 when the Toshiba logo appears after reboot. I did a soft reset (CTRL ALT DEL) at the Toshiba logo I press F2 and it did not enter BIOS and just continue to the same Intel link storage page. Some Google search say to press F1 or F12 to enter BIOS but the computer itself is saying to press F2, it must be the right button, just I didn't know to press it before getting the challenge response code thing, I even tried a usb wireless keyboard and still didn't get to the BIOS. Any suggestions?

I've now powered it up pressing F2 and got the following challenge

I hope after entering this the response for the above challenge it will enter BIOS. If there was an os installed, I could have gone through windows 10 advance boot to UEFI bios.

Thanks for the help, it wouldn't boot into the bios setup, so I got frustrated and repeated pressed F1, F2, F12 and delete, (after a Ctrl, alt and delete soft reset) and now its stuck on a blank screen.

It is what it is, I'm probably going to just put it on eBay, going to avoid Toshiba's like the plague from now on.
