Its not possible on some hp bios to remove the password without affecting the DMI area, it will result in a black screen.The only way to solve it is to replace the bios region,that replaces the whole DMI area.Peste removed the password for you,now you will have to enter the info manually with nbdmifit/wndmifit .Last edited by SMDFlea; 08-02-2019, 09:37 AM.Comment

I need help unlocking the BIOS password on my HP ProBook 11 G2 laptop.

š UUID: 6F5ED686-5532-11E7-A2E2-911C6404E011
š BIOS Status: Locked with password
The laptop is no longer under warranty and HP refused to help me.
Iām looking for a custom SMC.bin file.
I don't have a CH341A programmer, so it's difficult for me to provide a BIOS file.

Hello everyone, I come here to tell you my problem regarding the power-on password. It is not a bios reset demand, and i can't have any access to windows. This is the bios and power-on password that is blocking all other things.
My Omen 15-dh0052nf purchased second-hand was configured with the bios password upon purchase (very simple password :P ).
Having decided to sell it in order to get something more powerful, I reset all BIOS settings and set a blank administrator password. But the power-on password cannot be changed to a blank one so I let the actual password set.... -
