Hi,

I messed up my BIOS settings and now I am not able to login to Windows from my coorporate laptop with Kaspersky FDE. I can access the ESP partition. The disk structure is as follows (from TestDisk):

I can also run UEFI shell from a USB (if that helps in any way)

I tried fixing with a Windows Setup but no luck. I think this created a new BCD file. I tried using Dell "RCV" file in the ESP. But this too did not fix it.
If the dates from TestDisk are any clue, then the only relevant thing that's changed is from "EFI/Microsoft". It shows the year "2024" and I am sure it is then the problem occurred. Please see screenshot.



Is there anyway I can recover this from my side? I just need to get to the Kaspersky Authentication Agent screen (https://media.kasperskydaily.com/wp-...020150/6-1.png) where I'll enter my credentials and login to Windows.

The bios chip must be unsoldered from the board before writing or reading..
do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with,
solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..
