anyone here able to help ? i have very strange problem with this laptop . any time you close the lid the laptop lose all the power even the charger light goes off , removing battery won't help , only way if i have to wait like 10 -15 mins then the charger light will come on and you can turn on the laptop and as soon as you turn it on error message appear The system bios has detected your notebook PC was placed in hibernation to avoid overheating .

The system is now operating normally and your data should remain intact.



Overheating may occur if the cooling vents are blocked or the operating temperature exceed the specification. The notebook PC should return to normal operation once the situation is resolved.

System Temperature (90D)" but this issue not related to overheating at all as the laptop runs very cool it just happen anytime you close the lid ... any explanation ? updated the bios no change

the problem anytime the laptop go to sleep it dies and lose all power and have to wait like 20 mins for the charger light on the dc jack to come back and turn on the laptop . all voltage is ok . power mosfet is ok not sure what could causing this issue

tried your bios laptop error computer programming state unlocked mode ???

for unlock mode issue -use hp bcu tools. You can search on youtube about how to use bcu tools. There are plenty of videos and steps are very simple. Missing serial numbers etc use hp dmi tools.

Have you checked your LID switch???

yes i checked it . anytime you press on power button or close the lid which both should put the laptop to sleep instead the laptop will lose all the power ,dc charger light goes off and noway to turn it on unless you want for 20 mins or so then it will turn on with error code 90D which this code related to overheating but the system not overheating at all , cpu temp in max load around 45c ... what is the problem ? is this bios bug or motherboard issue ?
