Computrace have been deactivated. In the first boot you have to go into bios setting for set bios to default.

Hey I'm hoping maybe someone can help me on here. I have tried using the generator online but it did not help. My service tag is 1PWJM72-6FF1 my bios version is 1.3.0... I have no OS installed and am not sure how to go about getting a bios dump file to upload. Please help.

Works fine and password is gone. Problem was in bad programmed chip.

laptop works fine but bios pw is still here

post #122 should have worked.. maybe you wrote the bios with errors ... maybe you didn't stick the bios chip on the board well after writing it ... try it again..
