always, when you make a bios request, also post the original bios of the laptop, even if it is corrupted..

Hi guys i've got clean me working bios for hp 8470p 6050A2466401-MB-A04
but the problem it doesn't have DMI information. If somebody can help me with DMI offset codes i will put them or help me and remove password on the original bios and leave DMI

Don't worry, it doesn't matter if the tool gives an error after completion, the dump is unlocked despite the error.
Move on with the programming of the file back to the chip.

Imran, I would like to know more about what you did while fixing a 8470p BIOS (comment 30 back in 2017).

The user complained about the bios being locked, but all 3 BiosUser sections were empty.

You seem to have removed the "SetupMode" section, and altered other values before that, and then there seems to be other bits removed as well. What tool did you use for this?

The laptop is now about 12 years old, was bought second-hand and I would like to change the BIOS from legacy to UEFI and install Windows 11.
