Hi everyone,
I’m looking for the correct BIOS / EC / ME firmware for a CLEVO PE60RNEQ laptop that was sold by Scan as a 3XS system. The laptop has developed a boot issue that appears to be firmware-related, and I’m hoping someone can provide a dump or the correct files.
System Information:
Firmware Versions (from BIOS):
Problem Description:
What I’m Requesting:
If anyone has access to the correct firmware for this model, I would really appreciate:
Purpose:
I want to attempt a re-flash or a blind recovery to bring the laptop back to a working state. I understand Scan may use custom-tuned firmware, so using the correct version is important.
If anyone can provide these files, a clean dump, or guidance on where to obtain them safely, I’d be extremely grateful.

System Information:
- Base laptop model: CLEVO PE60RNEQ (NP60RNEQ)
- Motherboard ID: PE60RNE_RND_RNC
- Vendor: Scan 3XS (UK)
- Unfortunately, I no longer have the original box.
Firmware Versions (from BIOS):
- BIOS Version: 1.07.07SCI
- EC/KBC Firmware Version: 1.07.07
- Intel ME Firmware Version: 16.1.25.2049
Problem Description:
- I can enter BIOS normally without issues.
- When the laptop leaves BIOS, it displays the “Exe Systems” (Scan) splash screen.
- It freezes at this screen every time and does not proceed any further.
- It will not boot Windows, Linux, or any USB installer.
- No error messages, no beeps, no recovery options.
- The system never makes it past the Scan boot screen.
- This strongly suggests corrupted BIOS, EC, or ME firmware.
What I’m Requesting:
If anyone has access to the correct firmware for this model, I would really appreciate:
- The original BIOS image for the PE60RNEQ as supplied by Scan 3XS
- The matching EC/KBC firmware
- Optionally, the Intel ME firmware region for this platform (16.1.25.2049 or compatible)
