    Lenovo ThinkPad P1 LPM-1 MB 17870-2 32mb bios

    Hi
    Device: Laptop
    brand : Lenovo
    Model: Lenovo ThinkPad p1
    MB: LPM-1 MB 17870-2
    SN: R9-0SP0WN
    Request: I could get one good read of the bios chip in not writable any more
    I can not open the bios file in FIT tool looking for someone to fix the bios or
    give me a new dump this file is 32MB

              Hi everyone.

              I have an engineering sample of a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 11th Gen (TYPE 21HM-2FVT05, S/N PF-40G7CD) with an Intel Core i7 1360P (ES – Intel 0000). Since this is an engineering sample, the BIOS had a massive number of various settings.               Should I buy a Lenovo Thinkpad E495 with bios password?

              Good day. I apologize if I posted this in the wrong topic. I saw somebody selling a Thinkpad E495 with a Ryzen 3500U CPU near me. In the pictures the laptop is running windows 10. I contacted the seller and asked a few questions about upgradability and if it has a bios password on it. He confirmed it has a bios password. I searched through the forum, I found a guide regarding removing the bios password using the autopatcher, I also found a thread with the e495 where people requested help with unlocking the bios password.

              Hi!
              Went dumpster-diving and found a bricked Lenovo P14S in trash, few weeks earlier. Symptoms - no screen, no POST, no beep, just keyboard LEDs flashing on powerup. Mute button+LED was responding though, and the display self-test was still working (via the key combo Ctrl+Fn+Power held for some seconds, see the Service manual).

              Incidentally, Windows 11 have recently started auto-flashing computer BIOS in our region. Even more suspiciously, Lenovo has released a BIOS update just few days before the PC was trashed. About a week later, the BIOS update image has been oficially marked...

              Hello,

              I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
              So I thought it was a Bios problem.
              I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....
