HP Pavilion dv6-1100so
Hello. I'm looking for a BIOS image for an HP Pavilion dv6-1100so, with product number NR576EA#UUW. System board is a Quanta UT1A revision 6DO
I'm unable to follow the method at the linked guide because HP has discontinued support for the product and purged it from their support site, and as such I can't find any BIOS update packages.
I don't have a BIOS dump, because I'm waiting for the SOIC-8 clamp I ordered to arrive.
The issue with the laptop is that upon power on the screen stays black and the caps lock and num lock keys blink twice before waiting and blinking twice again, which repeats, which according to a post on HP forums indicates a corrupted BIOS on HP laptops of that age.
I know it's an Insyde H2O BIOS of some variety.
