lenovo thinkpad x1 carbon gen 12 bios damp

lenovo thinkpad x1 carbon gen 12
    Model 21KC-FVT001
    S/N PF-4CQ9FG
    CPU genuine intel(r) cpu 0000
    BIOS N3YET06C (0.06)
Hello! I need help getting a modified BIOS for my system. Since I have an engineering processor, is it possible to add the microcode of this engineering processor to the latest BIOS for this laptop model? I think since the BIOS is old, that's why the Wi-Fi driver is not installed on Win10 and Win11, the sound is not adjusted (error code 10 in the device manager) and the screen brightness. The laptop also has BIOS chips W25Q512NW and W25Q128JV, how can I read and flash W25Q512NW, the chip is not read by my ch341a programmer, and W25Q128JV is read as clean, although maybe this is true?

The bios chip must be unsoldered from the board before writing or reading..
do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with,
solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..

here is a video for example..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWWi...nnel=ThisIsHow

the chip was unsoldered and read directly from the programmer. In my opinion, everything was calculated correctly

ok..in the first post you say that you can't read the chip with this programmer, then the bios appears, without any clarification..I hope you managed to read it correctly..

Yes indeed at first I couldn't read the BIOS, even with the board with a converter to 1.8V, but after I replaced the converter on the CH341A itself from 3.3v to 1.8V, the firmware was read. Please help me add the microcode from my dump (if possible serial number) to the latest BIOS from the official site.

You can`t update Engineering Sample microde with production microcode.

As far as I understand, if you add the microcode of the engineering processor from the dump to the new BIOS, then everything should work or is it not so?

                                    Hello everyone,

To start, I am sorry if the information I ask for is in one of the stickies or somewhere else on the forum. I am new, and a lot of the terms used here are unfamiliar to me.

Last week I bought a Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 12 from a trusted vendor. Unfortunately, the system is locked with a BIOS password. I tried to read the sticky and follow the steps, but honestly, things like this are not my expertise.

My questions are: is it possible to remove the supervisor password on a newer laptop like this? If so, how?

                                      Hi everyone.

I have an engineering sample of a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 11th Gen (TYPE 21HM-2FVT05, S/N PF-40G7CD) with an Intel Core i7 1360P (ES – Intel 0000). Since this is an engineering sample, the BIOS had a massive number of various settings. One day, I was experimenting with the BIOS settings and, after saving them, the laptop stopped booting and played a melody after pressing the power button, signaling error code 0002 (Internal bus error), just like in this post: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...shooting-lapto...
