by aico60Hello everyone,
I am working on an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-46, board HH51R LA-M002P Rev: 1A with an AMD CPU and Insyde Bios rev 5.
Short issue description: BIOS does not recognize any of the DMI data.
History of the laptop:
The seller of the laptop said that it shut down during a BIOS update.
I bought in in a condition where it turned on but did not post.
While waiting for my RT809F to arrive, I tried to perform a Crisis recovery, which messed up the EC firmware, so... the laptop stopped even turning on. Power and Charging LEDs didn't work either...-

Hi colleagues, today I'm here to discuss a topic. I'm hoping to see what you guys can recommend, or rather, how you would carry out this repair...

Hi Stephen,
I already tried with 2 other batteries. this one has 168 cycles. I could boot with the battery pluged in but with trackpad cable disconected. It booted slow, and the fans where running noisy, and that's how I found information about the battery.
I've performed a new DFU Restore, this time with last version of macos Sonoma on both macs, and with the last iBridge. The same result. Please tell me this, DFU Restore operation is reflashing the entire T2 ROM file?
I have some KP messages.
I forgot to mention the fan where running fast but nothing was heating...-

by GIGA10Hello everyone. I'm not sure if this post belongs in this section? If not, please kindly move it to right section Mod/Admin.
I have a Gigabyte G5 KE laptop and I have forgotten the BIOS Admin password. I can enter BIOS menu but when trying to enter BIOS settings it ask for my password which I have forgotten. I can boot also in to Windows 11. I have tried to clearing CMOS by removing the CMOS battery for 10h. I have tried also to remove both power battery and CMOS battery and bridge the CMOS 2 pin connector on the motherboard. Then when booting I get a message that NVRAM has been... - Loading...
