there is no display coming in asus a42f when plug the charger all led lights on and laptop fan spinning slowly after 10second fan spin very fast and no external display coming . change the cpu . ram . flash bios . but problem still

Your cpu is getting hot so fast. Check caps and inductors around cpu socket, if they are all ok, reflow the cpu socket, but use liquid flux only.Comment

if shut-down laptop and unplug charger. then plug charger again laptop not start-up no led on...

May be you got the wrong bios file, why don't look around first, may be you'll find somewhere. Reflow the cpu socket is just a 2nd option.Comment

Hello to all of you! I need help with a BIOS file.
The BIOS chip is fried on my Asus F542UN laptop, and I bought a new chip that needs programming. I have a CH341a programmer but I need a .bin BIOS file. On Asus support page the firmware has another extension, .310 and from reading on this forum I understand that that file is not complete BIOS.
So, in short I need the "complete" BIOS .bin file to flash on the new chip. Another issue is that on back of the case the label says F542UN but on the sticker on the motherboard it's X542UN. -
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
Some issues
A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized
Things I tried
