I have finaly bought a T48 programmer and I succeeded in flashing my chip.
I put it back on the motherboard but now the laptop is not starting and the power is blinking orange/white with key with a lock on the keyboard blinking white also.
I have removed battery but same error.
Do you have any clue ?

Well, I tried again on EZP and it read the chip but says it is empty.
If it's really the case, what can I do ?

The videos explain why, it has 5V on the data lines, it is a design fault.

Why should I modify the voltage of the CH341A, my chip is a 3,3v and should support natively the CH341A isn't it ?

The CH341A is better than the EZP. If you can afford a better programmer the XGECU T48 is a good choice.

The bin at HP is only a bios update, not the full bios image. Keep trying to make the backups.
I am sorry but I am not able to do the soldering you describle roughly. I don't uderstand why CH341A would be better than EZP or XGPRO, XGECU.
I am beginning to admit that my laptop is now dead. Do you have another hopeful idea ?

If I buy a new one, what bin will I flash on it, I don't have backup ?
On the official HP site, the BIOS bin corresponding to my SN is only 9Mo instead of the 16Mo of the chip ... what does it mean ?

If you have a black PCB, it is very likely that it needs to be modified for 3V operation instead of 5V. Failing to do so could damage the ROM IC.

I had a soldered chip that I took off from the motherboard, so I can't use the clip. I'm just asking how to put my chip in the adapter (the black side up or down) ?
