    @hoaca388,
Hello, just a precision regarding the ROM Winbond 25Q256JVEN: can it be replaced by a W25Q256JVEIN or we reaaly need the exact reference. The W25Q256JVEN doesn't seem to be referenced yet in Windbond catalog and distributors..
    Thansk for your recommendations 😊

if the bios is ok, the DMI information doesn't matter...you will have an image...for the lack of DMI information you will receive a message at the beginning...
Due to a lack of donations, server free space at a critical level, and possible closure of Bios Requests all donations are welcome, click:

Good evening, this is a dump of my BIOS from a HP EliteBook 650 15.6 inch G10 laptop, it has a cyclic reboot without an image, I can't understand if this is a problem with the BIOS or ME, could you help me solve the problem? I'm attaching the BIOS.

merged post..next time look for a thread with the name and model, motherboard model,of the laptop and post there, if you can't find it, then make a new thread..

The problem is that when you merge my post with another post, I will not get any response, unfortunately. So you can delete my post because I no longer need it now because I no longer have the device

the problem is that you have to respect the forum rules...that way we won't have any reason to keep merging and moving posts here...if you had posted where you should, maybe one of us would have had time to help you..Here, no one is obligated to help you..if you want to stop waiting, learn how to do this job, and do it yourself...

first boot press f10 apply factory defaults and restart, 2nd boot reset security settings to defaults and exit.
use BCU. you can permanently disable Absolute lock in BCU.

                        Hi everyone.
Can anyone help me with this BIOS? It has an administrator password to enter BIOS.
But for the rest it works fine. It enters Windows and does not show any hardware with errors.

                        Attached are the computer data:
                        SN# 5CD3528LD4

                        Thank you for your support.

First of all, I want to thank you for your help.

I have copied your BIOS and entered the BIOS with F10 to restore the default values. The computer, on first startup, restarts a couple of times with the "HP WOLF SECURITY" logo and does not obey F10. After 2 or 3 restarts like this, I do get the message to enter the BIOS. But at that moment it asks me for the BIOS administrator password. Therefore, I cannot do the restore to defaults, nor restore the security options.

I tried to follow the procedure with BCU. The get command works and creates the bios.txt file correctly
According to a tutorial I followed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQJuJZNOuXg) it seems that the conventional thing is that data such as PN, SN, Feature Byte... do not appear, but for me they already appear filled in.
When I tried to do the set command, I got the error:
"Unable to process command. Password is set, but no password file is provided"/
                            "BCU return value" real="10" translated="10"/>

I have done the process twice just in case with the same result. Where could the error be? Thank you very much.

After trying with another SPI_BIOS, the computer no longer gives an image and has been left with a fixed consumption of 300mA without an image.
In the meantime, the firmware of several devices in the system was updated. I think there is now a corruption between SPI_BIOS and EC_BIOS.
I am attaching my 2 files in case someone can help me. Thank you very much.

I recorded your dump into a new chip. I did not select the EC reset when starting the laptop. F10 still prompts for a password. Do I need to desolder and re-record the dump again?
