does anyone have a bios dump for this laptop? I was updating the bios through Windows and the Internet was gone by 5%. The laptop doesn't turn on anymore.
or is it possible to convert a bup file to a bin file. when i open *.bup file by winrar i get *.upd file 28 MB. BIOS can't be that big.

now I'm trying to use the CH341A programmer. I've tried using TianoCompress.exe , to get the bin file, but I think this is not correct. When reading through the programmer, FF is everywhere.

Yes I'm sure. MX25U8033E is 8Mb/1MB flash memory chip. Google it.

It is Bios chip , try with AsProgrammer 2.0.4 ( https://github.com/nofeletru/UsbAsp-...ses/tag/v2.0.4 ) , If you can't read the chip, you will can't to write it well !!

succes dump, but again all 'FF FF'

but now I can try to record the bios. there is enough space for a bios. the bios version weighs 29 MB

can I clear this bios to try to record the downloaded one?

you are right. there are just a lot of chips on the board and all show "ff ff" and only one chip showed something similar to the data

how do I remove the protection from the chip?

I press the unprotect button, but nothing happens. The program switches to the removal mode, the green RUN light on the programmer lights up. So it hangs for an hour, but the progress bar is zero

Hi Forum,

i've got this Laptop (Fujitsu H5511) with a small problem -> the screen is completely black on power on. I assume it's a faulty BIOS. Tried to clean the ME, but it doesn't help (not sure if i did it in the right way).

If someone has a working dump, I would be grateful if you could help.
