Hi, I recently got a Dell Inspiron 15 5578 for free because it has a BIOS password.
Service Tag: G66PBL2
BIOS chip: MX25L12873F
I've already tried the usual solutions: Removing the CMOS battery, finding a jumper pin, and using https://bios-pw.org/. No luck.
It seems my only option left is to flash the chip, but unfortunately I made a mistake and corrupted the BIOS when I tried to flash it the first time.
I got a dump of the BIOS before I corrupted it and would appreciate it if someone could either remove the password or provide a new, clean BIOS.
Also, I'm not sure where to find the motherboard numbers even after checking online, so I've provided a picture of the board, if you know where they might be I'd be happy to provide them.
